Fern & Flora

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today, I am kicking off my Fern & Flora series. This entire suite of products is gorgeous! I really love the colors used in the Moonlit Flora DSP.

This Moonlit Flora DSP features Golden Glow, Secret Sea, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Peaceful Pine and Berry Burst. For today’s card, I really zoned in on the Golden Glow color because I LOVE it! It’s really a rich, buttery yellow that makes the other colors pop off the card. I started with a Golden Glow card base. I added a layer of Golden Glow Cardstock that is embossed with the Fern & Flora Embossing Folder. Next, I added two pieces of DSP. One tip with this paper- use one busy pattern with the more monochromatic patterns. It’ll get too crazy if you use the busy florals together. For the focal point. I cut a Golden Glow stem, a Mossy Meadow curled fern frond, and an Old Olive stamped fern front. I layered all these behind the Secret Sea sentiment. That label die cut is in this die set too! Lastly, I added two Vellum butterflies that were stamped in Secret Sea and colored with the Gold Glow Shimmer Brush. I also added a couple Dewdrop Embellishments.

Inside the card, I added a skinny strip of DSP, another curled fern frond and another vellum butterfly.
