Fancy Friday Blog Hop- Botanical Builders Place Setting

Hello everyone and welcome to the March edition of the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! I just love this hop and I hop you do too. We are made up of mostly current and former Artisan Design Team Members. So, you know you’re going to find some really amazing and beautiful projects!

This month’s theme is Spring! Is it spring where you are? We had Spring in January and immediately moved to Summer here in South Texas. Boo!! It’s already way too hot y’all!
I saved this project from last weekend’s Spring Retreat just for this blog hop. I used the Botanical Builders Thinlits to create little flower arrangement  table markers for each of my Retreat Goers. Let me tell ya, that was ALOT of Big Shot work! Those flowers each have three dicuts and each one is very intricate and delicate. I knew they would be difficult going in, but I really wanted to make something nice for my customers. I made 40 sets, two flowers each, three shapes each flower. It took several hours spread over a few days. Look how pretty they were as I made them.
Anyhow, here is how they looked all by themselves. I printed each person’s name on Old Olive cardstock and then made a banner using the Garden In Bloom Stamp set. I chose to use Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder and Old Olive. The Melon Mambo flowers were for another project I will show you next week!

The cute little vases were in the dollar section at Michaels.

I loved the way they all looked in this vintage crate! I hope each of my customers took it home and put it in a special place to remind the of the fun we had!
Ok, you’re off to my friend Connie Collins. I always look forward to what she cooks up! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love my sweet little vase so much I took it with me to work to brighten up an otherwise sad little workspace — I truly appreciate all the work you put into this project, Erica! And your spring retreat was great fun — thank you for all you do!

  2. I want a pile of those flowers – just as you photographed. ohhhh – they would be cute on a canvas!!!
