Good Morning! Our heat wave finally broke here in South Texas and fall is in there air! It’s amazing just how good that first snap feels. I was in the mood for all things fall this weekend, so I put my new Leaves of a Tree stamp to good use! I used this sketch from Inkspiration.
One new little goodie in the Holiday Mini are these Shaker Frames. I haven’t made a shaker card in years, so I was excited to see these. And back when I made them before, it was done by pieces lots of Dimensionals together and then hoping for the best. It was not easy! So, these little circle frames are a huge improvement.
I used the little left overs from the Triple Layer Flower Punch for the fall leaves inside. Fun!
Stamps: Leaves of a Tree
Ink and Paper: Autumn Spice DSP, More Mustard DSP, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Whisper White.
Other: I 1/4, 1 3/8, 1 3/4″ Circle punches, Scalloop Circle punch, Triple Layer Blossom Punch, Stampin Dimensionals, Scallop Edge Border Punch, More Mustard Scallop Dotted Ribbon, Mini Clothespins, Early Espresso Bakers Twine, Shaker Frames
Here is a little sneak peek of one of the projects we will be making at the Holiday Stamp Camp! You will want to make this project! Don’t forget to register!!
Are you going to show more of your projects from your stamp camp? I wish I lived closer. Loved this one!
So stinkin' cute! I bought all my stuff I need to make your Halloween wreath, but can't find the lights. Where did you find yours?
This is lovely. I love how you used the punched out pieces as shaker inserts.
Love your card! Love the use of the DSP and the colors. I really want that stamp now too and how cute to make it a shaker card!
This is fabulous, Erica! I just got those shaker frames and this is fabulous inspiration to bust them out of their package. Love the rich colors and the bitty clothespin, too! Very pretty! 🙂
Oh my goodness, Erica – the leaves shaker on the tree is a brilliant idea!!!! Love, love it!! TFS!
Hi Erica,
I just loved your sweet shaker card and I chose it as the Honorable Mention on the Inkspirations challenge blog. Thanks for playing!
