Eyelet Blooms Die and Scalloped Blooms Bundle

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today, I’ am once again featuring the ‘d like to introduce you to the April Product of the Month- the Eyelet Blooms Die!

Stampin’ Up’s Product of the Month program gives us a new product that you can add for just $5 when you spend $75 or more! This is an excellent value! You can only ever get it once, even if you order over $75 multiple times. It’s limit one per customer. You can see this month’s new product as well as past month’s product’s that are still available here.

Now, today’s card needs a little bit of a back story… We went to Nothing Bunt Cake recently and when they handed me the shopping bag (see photo later in this post) I knew I wanted to make a card just like it! You never know when inspiration is going to strike! I loved the colors and I loved the pattern. So when I received the Scalloped Wishes Die, I knew it would be perfect for this “recreation.” I pulled out Night of Navy (die cut layer) and Blueberry Bushel (card base) Cardstock and got to work. This die is very intricate, so you’re going to want to make sure you also have the Die Brush attachment for your Take Your Pick Tool. I applied Liquid Glue to the back and then let it dry for a while before adhering it to the base. The fun scalloped circles and sentiment are a sneak peek! They are from a new bundle called Scalloped Blooms Bundle, available May 5th in our new catalog.

Now, I wasn’t sure I 100% loved that first card. I thought maybe I needed to reverse my color sequence. So, I made it again, this time making Night of Navy the card base and Blueberry Bushel the die cut layer. I think I liked this version better. The first one isn’t bad, I just think you can see more of the die’s beautiful detail with the lighter cardstock color. I also added a Gray Granite bow and a few Neutral Dots.

And here is the bag that started the whole thing! Isn’t so cute!?
