I was excited to try a brand new challenge blog this week- Dynamic Duos! It features some of my favorite SU artist and I love the theme of “color duos!” And, it was truly challenging for me for some reason! LOL! I like a good challenge! Sticking to two colors only was HARD for me!
I decided to go with a Dad card. Mother’s day is over and so next up is dear old Dad! I stuck with a monochromatic feel with just a couple of pops of yellow.
These little ties are from a set that is currently in the catalog and luckily are carrying over! I used a cupcake pedestal from a new Hostess set as the shelf and Letter It for the Dad letters. DSP in the background is also from an upcoming DSP set called Cottage Wall ( I think! EEK!) and the one in the front is from the In Color Stack. Like the ribbon? I LOVE it! It is replacing the 1/4″ Grosgrain ribbon. It ties so well and I like it so much better than the old grosgrain. (Watch for an upcoming SHARE!!)
As you can see, as usual, I used lots of Dimensionals! I love those things! Ha! And those little brads… they are old, not sure… Hmmm….
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great hump day!
