Daffodil Daydream

  Hello everyone! This week’s Facebook Friday will be all about the beautiful Daffodil Daydream Bundle from the 2022 Spring Mini Catalog and the coordinating Daffodil Afternoon DSP which is a free Sale A Bration product.

With this bundle, you have two ways to create the beautiful daffodil. You can stamp the image, as I’ve done here, or you can use the dies to piece together s larger flower, which we will do tomorrow. Here I stamped the image in Memento Black and then colored it with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Tip- if your yellow Stampin’ Blends pick up the black ink, dry the ink with your Heat Tool for a few seconds before you color. For whatever reason, my yellows seems to smear the black ink if I don’t wait some time for it to dry. The other colors don’t do it, just those lovely yellows!

The little butterfly was also stamped and colored with Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends. It’s also brushed with Wink of Stella for a little extras sparkle. Lastly, you can see a few flicks of Old Olive ink (Stampin’ Blend) behind the butterfly.
