Curved Occasions- Retro Skates

Ok, now for today’s card… I’m using a brand new bundle from the Holiday catalog called Curved Occasions. It’s a stamp/punch bundle in the back of the new catalog. You can see it on p. 64. The images are so fun! And they’r emy favorite style- black line images that can be colored with Stampin’ Blends! Today’s card features a retro color pallet- Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Pumpkin PIe and Daffodil Delight.

I stamped the 1 1/4″ X 4″ cardstock strips with the Sketched Plaid Background Stamp, in the same colors of ink as I mentioned above. I stamped the skate twice in Memento Black ink on Basic White Cardstock and colored them with Night of Navy Light, Pumpkin Pie Dark, Daffodil Delight Dark and Smoky Slate Light Stampin’ Blend. I cut them out with Paper Snips and adhered them to a Basic White Nested Shape label. I embossed the sentiment with Versa Mark ink and White Embossing Powder on a Night of Navy Stylish Shape Stitched Banner. Everything is attached with Dimensionals. Last, I colored Iridescent Pearls with the same Stampin’ Blends and added them to the cardstock panels.
