So last weekend, I participated in my first craft show. I was excited and nervous all at the same time. I had worked for weeks to prepare for it.
My set up looked pretty good, at least I thought so!
Lots of catalogs of course!
I even had a card making station (FREE) and had a few ladies enjoy that.
I added height to my tables with several old crates and stools.
This adorable little box was found at an antiques store. It’s now going to hang on my wall to hold all my cards.
$5 shutters made a great way to display cards.
Lots of chicken wire frames. Lots left unfortunately!
My sweet pink ladder was perfect!
Class sign up sheets…
So, how did it go? Well, let’s just say I broke even…. BARELY. Apparently it was really slow and no one did well. It was a GORGEOUS day outside, so I am assuming everyone was working in their yards. Sigh…. SO, needless to say, I have a BUNCH of pin cushions and chicken wire frames left. The thing that sold the best? ???
CARDS!!!
CARDS!!!
LOL! Who knew!?!?!

I love the chicken wire frames!!! I do, I do! I don't know what's wrong with the other people but I would have picked them up, along with the pin cushions. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me every time I go to your blog. I'm from California but my best friend lives in Killeen.
Beautiful displays! Your work is gorgeous,…sorry it was not busier for you; so hard to predict how busy fairs will , but your work is beautiful and very inspiring!
Thank you for sharing all of your ideas, ups and downs about your first craft show! Sorry you didn't have better turn-out. Here's hoping next time is better for you. Your crafts are beautiful so I am sure it will! My first craft show is next weekend and I have been really interested in how you got ready for it and how it went. So a BIG thank you for all that you have shared….PS Love to watch your blog, I do it often – craft show or not. 🙂
You sold a lot of cards because all of your cards are so cute!!!
