Good Morning! I feel so refreshed this morning! I actually have a little time to blog before we head out to our first class! I wanted to share my first swap card with you as well!
All 20 Artisan Finalist participated in a swap on Thursday. Talk about amazing cards! I was so nervous about creating my swap! I mean, talk about pressure! But, I am very, very happy with what I ended up with. I think it’s a great representation of me and my style and that’s exactly what I was hoping I could come up with!
Of course I used the cowboy boots! And, what other color but pink!! I actually had two different versions; one was Regal Rose and one was Melon Mambo.
I also created the gingham pattern paper by inking the striped the folder.
Paper: First Edition, Soft Suede, Regal Rose or Melon Mambo
Other: Big Shot, Striped Embossing Folder, Medium Oval Punch, Early Espresso Stitched Ribbon, Basic Jewels
And, a picture (thanks again Wendy!) from last night of the Artisan dinner.
First row: Erica Cerwin, Cindy Beach, Wendy Weixler;
Second row – Heidi King, Jane Lee, Marisa Gunn, Heather Summers, Jeanna Bohanon, Sarah Sagert; Back Row – Concept Artist from SU, Amy Yingling (SU Concept Artist Coordinator), Shelli Gardner, Amy S. (Another Concept Artist from SU!), Amy Bollman
And, if you have not seen it already, WATCH THIS!!! It’s adorable!! These are the people we’ve met and learned from all week.
