Hello everyone! It finally feels like Fall might be on the way… maybe? It’s still VERY hot here, but the mornings are beginning to cool off, which is always our first indication that change is coming! So, I think it’s an appropriate time to use the Changing Leaves Bundle! I’ll be showcasing this awesome bundle over the next few days, including during Facebook Friday. It’s an Online Exclusive, which just means you can only find it Online, not in any catalog.
Today’s card is very simple. I used the hybrid Embossing Folder and die to cut some of our Textured Metallic Cardstock. I had a really hard time capturing the beauty of this foil paper, but this morning’s sun helped! The folder embosses texture on the paper and then the die cuts the leaves out. All at the same time! It’s so cool! Make sure to join me tomorrow during Facebook Friday and I’ll show you how to do that. I mounted those leaves on a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Paper. My card base is Copper Clay, a color I really can’t get enough of with my Fall projects! After that, I stamped the sentiment in Copper Clay ink on a Basic White Nested Essentials hexagon. And lastly, I added a few Neutral Sequins.
As I mentioned, I am also featuring the Changing Leaves Bundle tomorrow for Facebook Friday! If you’d like to shop and earn this week’s Changing Leaves Facebook Friday projects, please use Host Code BKSUV9SX. All orders over $35 will earn a free make and take kit from me in the mail next week.
