Hi y’all! I’ve got a new card today that features a really cool technique! See those flowers on the background? They look like rub-ons, don’t they?
Well, they’re not! My friend Erin has a fab little video tutorial on her blog on how to do this. I saw her do it recently on her blog and I could not for the life of me figure out how she did it! I was so excited to see her tutorial and finally give it a try!
I also have lots and lots of layers on this card! The limes look like maybe they were pulled out of a Margarita, right? That’s what I was hoping anyway!
Stamps: Tart and Tangy, Mixed Bunch,
Paper and Ink: Sweet Shop, Whisper White, Basic Grey, Lucky Limeade, Elegant Eggplant, Versa Mark
Other: Blossom Punch, Stick Pin, Scallop Grosgrain Ribbon, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Heat Gun,
This card was inspired by the sketch at Card Patterns and the colors at CR84FN.
