Hello everyone !I had a wonderful event this weekend and I want to share some pictures with you!
My Catalog Kick Off Party is always a BOGO sale. I sell ALL my retired products at full price and then my customers earn the exact same amount in FREE product from the new catalog. So, By One (retired item), Get One (new Item) for Free! It’s a really good deal for my customers and it helps me clear out some space for all my new products.
I had a catlog for everyone as well as a little treat as a thank you. You can see the In Color Flower display to the left, and I will have more details on that later in the week.
I made sure to make the new In Colors the star of the show. They are really, really good this year! I love them all!
I also had lots of other displays using the products I ordered during the Pre Order period for Demonstrators and some swaps I received from other Demos.
The Daisy Punch is “un-orderable” until June 26th, but I still had to show it off. It’s going to be very popular! The Wood Texture Bundle is going to be a big hit as well!
And I had lots of Eastern Palace items to show off too.
I had two Make and Takes (I’ll post specifically about them this week as well.)
I had some snacks, including these AMAZING cookies I had customer made. More details at the bottom of this post on those.
I had two rooms set up with my retired products. Here is the room with paper, tools and embellishments.
So much paper!!!
And I had more stamp sets than counter space! This is just one wall in my office!!
Now, let me tell you a little bit about these cookies. I contacted a local woman in my area who owns Colorful Cakes Bakery. She makes beautiful cookies right out of her house! I am so impressed with what she created!! I told her to focus on the In Colors and then showed her some things on my blog and told her to go to town on whatever she felt inspired by. I was floored when I saw them! She copied my spool of ribbon (see below,) she made ink pads, the adirondack chair die, the daisy punch, my logo, color swatches and she even copied the tag on one of my wood crates!! If you live in the San Antonio area, you have to check her out. Unfortunately, she doesn’t ship, but I did a Google search and found her that way. So, if you live some where else, Google custom cookies and I am sure you will find a local baker in your area who can make similar things as well.
I will have more details this week showing the projects you’ve seen in the photos above.
