Hello everyone! Welcome back! I’m back in the studio and starting to lose the grip of jet lag! I always have trouble coming home in regards to jet lag. Thankfully, I don’t feel it going away, just coming back. Anyhow, I’m ready to get my Carousel Horses series started today with a soft Bubble Bath pink and Wild Wheat gold card.
Today’s card features the largest horse in the Carousel Horses bundle. I stamped it in Memento Black ink on Basic White Cardstock and colored it with Wild Wheat Light and Bubble Bath Light Stampin’ Blends. Wild Wheat makes a great gold! I didn’t realize it until one of my lovely downline Deanna pointed it out! Now I see it in a new light! I added Wink of Stella to the Wild Wheat areas and it sparkles beautifully!
The sentiment, from Charming Sentiments, is also stamped in Wild Wheat. The card base is Bubble Bath Cardstock, the frame is cut from Textured Glimmer Paper using the Contour Scallop Dies (second largest.) I added a Window Sheet inside the rectangle I cut with the Radiating Stitches Die. I then layered the Delightfully Eclectic DSP behind the Window Sheet. Lastly, I added a Bubble Bath Ribbon bow to the top of the pole.
