Black and White- FMU71

This week, we’re goin’ “Black Tie”! Have a look at the challenge and the gorgeous samples by the design team to get your creative juices flowing!

So here is the “Mashup” Challenge:

  1. Make a project using ” Black N’ White Only .”
  2. Or Make a project with ” Some Bling “.
  3. Or “Mash it Up” and create a ” Black N’ White Project with some Bling! “
Sticking to just black and white was REALLY tough for me! But, I did it and, I even included a little bling!

These new little googlie eyes are so fun! They are the perfect size for small projects, and the very best part is that they already have adhesive on them! Have you ever tried to glue a tiny googlie eye before? We’re talking glue everywhere, no matter how small your dot is! SO, these come already sticky, so you just stick them on your project!

I also used my striped embossing folder to create this gingham paper.

And, I used the eyeballs for not only the bat, but as little embelishments! Spooky!

    Stamps: Tricky Treats
Ink and Paper: Glimmer Paper, Basic Black, Whisper White, Staz On Black, Black DSP Stack
Other: Window Framelits, 1 3/4 Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Whisper White stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Black Polka Dot Scalloped ribbon, Googlie Eyes
Now, hop on over to The Friday Mash Up and see what the other designers came up with! We hope you’ll join us this week!

I also used this fun sketch from the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge

  1. Ok, this is the cutest thing ever – especially with the googlies in the corners! I love it!! Fantastic interpretation of the challenge 🙂
