Birthday Bouquet and Birthday Blooms

Good morning everyone! TGIF! I’m feeling a littler nervous today…it’s the day my big office move/home renovation begins! I don’t like chaos and mess, so this is going to be a real struggle for me!! But, I am excited to see what evolve. 

I currently work in a room that was designated as a “den” or playroom. It’s HUGE! We have three other bedrooms upstairs, two very nice size, and the third is the size of a shoe box. Stupid builders! What were they thinking? That tiny bedroom has been a problem since we moved in. My youngest daughter was in there for a while and then she chose to share a room with my middle daughter. They were happy. At first. Fast forward a year later, and it’s time to split them up! So, we are closing in the “den” (my office), adding a closet and making it the little one’s bedroom. It really is the right thing to do for everyone.

So, where am I going? Downstairs! We are building a study where there is now a dining room/family room. It too has been a stupid space. It’s wide open and not easy to arrange furniture wise. My new office will be about 12’x12′. Much smaller than my current office. But honestly, it’s all I need. So, hubby’s old Army buddy (now a GC)  is flying in from St. Louis to spend a week straight working on this. EEK!! So, things will be weird for a while. I won’t have new videos next week most likely. LOL! I am, however , getting some AMAZING cabinets put in early next week. All custom designed by me! I. Am. So. Excited!!

I ended up going about $1000 over my budget. Oops!! I really wanted those glass front doors on one side to make it feel little bigger. And the under cabinet lights and plugs too! But, I told hubby I spend majority of my time in this room, so it was worth it!! 😉 So, stay tuned for more updates. I will be documenting every step! 

I wanted to share a little notebook I made for some of my team way back in November for On Stage. I forgot to share it! 

It uses the gorgeous new DSP called Birthday Bouquet. Pink, pink, pink!! It’s one of my favs! The stamp set is called Birthday Blooms and it’s gorgeous too! 

You can’t see it, but I used the Wink of Stella pen on the flower. this thing is seriously awesome. So easy to use and really adds lots of pizzaz to your project!
