Best Birds and Garden in Bloom- Stamp Club and Swaps

Hello everyone!! Today, I am so excited to show you this month’s April Stamp Club card! I’m extra excited because I also made a bunch of them for On Stage Shreveport!! More about On Stage in a minute…
I was having trouble getting started on swap cards last week. (Swap cards are cards you take to a Stampin’ Up event and trade with other Demos for cards they’ve made!)
As we near the end of the Annual catalog, I start to get Crafters Block a lot because I can’t wait to get my hands on new stuff… As I looked though my products, I just couldn’t get inspired!  So, I went to Pinterest and just searched for cards in general. I wasn’t looking for a specific set, but looking for color and layout inspiration. When I found this card, I fell in love! While I stuck with the colors and theme, my design took on a different feel and I am in love with the final result!

My original intent was swaps, but I loved this card so much, I need up making them for my Stamp Club To Go. I made a few for swaps, but ended up making most of them for my club ladies! LOL! (So back to the drawing board for swaps!!)

The little birds are the only thing different in each of these cards. They are from the Birds and Blooms Thinlits. I used all three birds because I had to cut ALOT of them… LOL! That way, I could kill three birds with one stone… errr, swipe of the Big Shot!!

I also used the stamps that coordinate with these thinlits called Best Birds. The flowers are from Garden in Bloom. Colors I used are Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Early Espresso. I colored in the branches with my Aquapainter. I finished it off with a Black Twine Bow.

Ok, so On Stage Shreveport is where I’ll be starting tomorrow. I am SO excited to be traveling with a bunch of my team! We will be driving seven hours- please pray for safe travels!! Tomorrow night is Center Stage (for leaders) and then Saturday is the full day event. On Saturday evening, my friend Kay and I are hosting a party for Demonstrators!
I. Am. So. Excited!!
Did I mention we get the new Annual catalog!!!
I don’t think I’m going to be able to see tonight!!

Make sure you are following game on Instagram and on Facebook. We have a strict “No Spoilers” policy until next Tuesday, but I will be posting pictures of what I can!! You know, swaps, food and friends!!

I’m not sure if I’ll post tomorrow, I’ve got so much to do in the next 24 hours!!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. WOW these are lovely!!! I have this birds and blooms bundle on it's way to me and I'm SO excited … I truly love what you've created with them!!! Not only are the die cuts displayed so nicely, but you've created your own designer paper as a background. I LOVE using stamps to make my own dsp! Thank you for your wonderfully inspiring blog.
