Hello everyone! It’s May and that means a new Product of the Month! This month’s POTM is the Berry Botanical Vellum!
Stampin’ Up’s Product of the Month program gives us a new product that you can add for just $5 when you spend $75 or more! This is an excellent value! You can only ever get it once, even if you order over $75 multiple times. It’s limit one per customer. You can see this month’s new product as well as past month’s product’s that are still available here.
So this is a Vellum patterned paper. That means it’s kind of transparent! I thought that provided the perfect opportunity to create this fun “patterned paper front” type card. You cut off all but 1″ of the card front and replace it with the patterned paper, in this case, the Berry Botanical Vellum! I kept the rest pretty simple. I added a Fresh Freesia Border cut with the Boarded in Beauty Dies. Then, I added a 3/4″ strip of the Bloom Boutique DSP and a White Linen Thread bow tied around the card. The sentiment, from Ballon Festoon, was stamped in versamark ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I added a couple In Color Butterflies.
Inside, I added a piece of Basic White. I just kept it simple since you kind see through the front layer!
Measurements:
5 1/2″ X 5 1/4″ Fresh Freesia Cardstock
4″ X 5 1/4″ Vellum and Basic White Cardstock
3/4″ X 5 1/2″ DSP
