Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today I have one more Beauty of the Deep project for you. Today’s card is a simple way to use the anchor image. Make sure you check out Friday’s three projects here for more ideas.
As I mentioned on Friday, we’re getting very close to our big move and my brain has kind of shut down creatively. It kind of feels like the day before vacation, but every day! So, I really struggled to come up with one more card for today. But, n the end, I love this very simple layout! I started with three strips of cardstock: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Boho Blue. I adhered them to a 3 3/4″ X 5″ piece of Basic White Cardstock, just about 2 1/2″ in. I trimmed the off to match the edge of the white piece and stamped the sentiment from Waves of Inspiration in Night of Navy ink.
I added this piece to a Basic White Card base using DImensionals in the four corners. Next, I slipped the strips under this piece and adhered them to the card base, matching them the ones on the top piece. Lastly, I embossed the image in Silver Embossing Powder, cut it out with the matching die and added it with Dimensionals. I felt like it needed just a little something else, so I then added a few Basic Rhinestones.
