Hello everyone! Today I am continuing my Beautiful Butterflies series. As I mentioned on Friday, through the end of February, you can actually get the stamp set for free as one of your SAB picks. If this is what you’d like to do, you’d only want to purchase the Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies here. Make sure to check out Friday’s three projects here.
Today’s card is bright and bold! My colors, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana, served as my starting point. I used the Botanical Beauty Background stamp and Versamark ink on the Highland Heather layer. I also splattered it with Wink of Stella. Next, I cut the butterfly layers form Coastal Cabana Cardstock. I splattered them with Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the leaves from the Everyday You and Me Bundle in Granny Apple Green ink on Granny Apple Green Cardstock. I cut the “friend” from the Friends of Life Dies out of Basic White Cardstock and a Foal Adhesive Sheet to give it that thick look. I added all of this plus a Gorgeous Grape Mixed Labels banner to the card front with Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Antique Pearls to the card front.
You can see on the inside I stamped the dots in Highland Heather and the leaves in Gorgeous Grape ink along the left side of a Basic White piece.
Measurements:
4 1/4″ X 11″ Gorgeous Grape Card Base
4″ X 5 1/4″ Highland Heather and Basic White Cardstock
