Hello everyone! I am so, so , so excited to show you a new technique today! I saw a really fun project done by Jen Paulie on Instagram and had to give it a try. Mine kind of took a different turn as I played with it and I absolutely love the way my projects came out. And, I have a video tutorial to show you how easy it is!

You’re going to need a few unusual supplies for this project. You’ll need a few baby wipes and ink refills in the colors you want. I used Polished Pink, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party. Tahitian Tide and Fresh Freesia. If you haven’t bought ink refills for your ink pads yet- you need to! One day you’ll open an ink pad and it will be running out of ink and you’ll be so mad that you don’t have the refill! Plus, four of these colors are In Colors which means they won’t be around for long. Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia retire next month!! Shop ink refills here.

The only stamp I used is from Lucky Clover. That’s this week’s Facebook Friday product and I have really enjoyed using it. The punch is sold out, but I used just the stamps a bunch with out the punch and still love it! I used Shimmery White Cardstock for the rainbow technique. I also used the Basic Border Dies, a Water Painter, Wink of Stella , Tahitian Tide Metallic Ribbon and either Heart Pearls or Opal Rounds.

I didn’t show this in the video, but I cut a strip off the remaining paper and stuck it to the botom of the inside. Just another fun detail.
Measurements:
4 1/4″ X 11″ Thick Basic White Cardstock
4″ X 5 1/4″ Shimmery White Cardstock (cut down after you’ve made your rainbow)
(3) 2″ X 4 1/2″ Basic White Cardstock

After I made the video, I cut tags from the pieces I had left over. I used the Taylor Made Tag Dies. I added the cloud Basic Border on the side as well. I stamped the clover in Granny Apple Green ink (stamped off once first) and then embossed the sentiment in Gold Embossing Powder. I cut them out with the Stylish Shape Dies. Lastly, I added White Glitter Organdy Ribbon the new Gold Trim and some Adhesive Backed Sequins.

I’m a bit obsessed with these and this technique!! These little tags would be so great for so many reasons. I was thinking how fun it would be to sneak them in my kid’s back packs on the day of a big test or sport tryout. I think you should make a bunch of rainbow paper and then make a bunch of tags to have on hand. That’s what I did!

As I mentioned, this week’s Facebook Friday will also feature the Lucky Clover stamp set. I’ve got three projects planned for tomorrow (Friday) at 2:00 pm CST over on Facebook- I hope you’ll join me then! This week I won’t be offering make and takies because I’ll be out of town all next week, but I do have a fun Spring Break special!
