The Thankful Tablescape Kit
is full is adorable components. Its purpose, of course, is to make beautiful
table pieces. I, however, have used the pieces for many other things. The Birch
Paper Ribbon is my favorite part of the kit. It’s so beautiful! I used it to
make these little corn husk candy holders that can be given out to friends or
even as decoration. The flat ribbon is easy to work with and gather on the
ends. It easily holds the 1”X8” Cellophane Bags filled with candy. Finished off
with a cute tag, this project will delight anyone who receives it! What a great
way to show your gratitude!

I do want to say that I had seen a project similar to this made with real corn husks, so the original idea was not my own! But, finding corn husks isn’t easy, so I thought the paper ribbon was a perfect substitution.
I have really fallen in love with the Core’dinations cardstock. It’s awesome for achieving that distressed look. I just love the way it sands off to create this weathered wood feel.
