Artisan Wednesday Wow- Feathered Woodcuts

Hello! Welcome back to the Artisan Wednesday Wow Blog hop! Today is our first project from the October box . My favorite part of this box, actually wasn’t in the box at all! It was a digital download for MDS: Feathered Woodcuts!

I printed out this beautiful quote from the Grateful Hearts Frameables. It’s beautiful enough by itself in the frame, but I wanted to add a little pop to it.

I merged the feather SVG files from the Feathered Woodcuts download into my Cameo. Next, I cut them out of Crushed Curry and Raspberry Ripple Cardstock. I ran the Versa Mark pad over the ends of them and sprinkled them with Gold Embossing Powder. Once I used the Heat Tool on them, they were beautiful! I added a small bit of Burlap Ribbon, a Naturals Button and some of my favorite Linen Twine.

It’s a very simple project that can liven up your fall mantle! I LOVE MDS!! 🙂
