Hello and welcome back to the weekly Artisan Blog Hop! This week, I am showing one way to incorporate Project Life by Stampin’ Up into Scrapbooks! I had a bunch of photos from this past Easter and found the Project Life Pages a perfect way to get them all on.
One thing you will notice is the large photos that I cut up and divided into the pockets. I’ve seen this alot online and really wanted to try it.
I also used my Blendability Markers on my Easter images!
So, as you can see above, I printed a large 6″ X 12″ photo and cut it apart. The easiest way I found to do this was to create a photo box in MDS and print it through Stampin’ Up’s Printing Service.
This is super simple! Open a 12″ X 12″ page, insert two photo boxes and resize them to 6″ X 12″. Drag and drop your photos!
I then created some DSP cards that would fit in the pockets. I used the square punch, sized them to the PL pocket sizes (4″ X 6″, 4″ square and 2″ X 3″). There are also some template pages that you can use to do this without using the punches, but I was in a hurry and don’t have them yet, so I just used the punch. I filled them with the Everything Easter DSP.
I also wanted to make sure my pictures were the right sizes. You know when you print a picture and you can’t trim it to the right size? Frustrating! So, I inserted some text boxes again, this time sizing them according to the pockets, and inserted my photos.
The little Easer pictures are from the same download as the DSP. Now, you could print them in color if you wanted, but I really wanted to play with my Blendabilities. So, I just inserted a bunch of images on a white 12 x 12 page and had them printed as well. The colored beautifully with the Blendabilities!
I used a few sneak peek products as well… I couldn’t help myself!! LOL! The File Folder Framelit (I think that’s what it’s called) and a new stamp set I got on the cruise called What’s Up.

Spectacular! You always amaze me with your incredible creative spin on the every day ordinary!
