Welcome to the first May Artisan Blog Hop! We are all SO excited this week because we are all sharing with you the brand new Project Life by Stampin’ Up!! I am sure you have heard about
Stampin’ Up’s new partnership with Becky Higgins’ Project Life. I was thrilled to get my hands on these products. They are FABULOUS!!
This is my very first Project Life layout. It was so much fun!
I chose to document our trip to see the Texas Wildflowers this year. It was kind of an accident that we found these amazing fields of flowers and really wanted to journal alot abou it.
First, I felt like the journaling cards were like little works of art. Or tiny little scrapbook pages. You can dress them up with lots of things, or just leave them plain. They are beautiful as is. But, if you ar elike me and like to “decorate” your pages, they lend themselves to that as well.
My first card to work on was this larger 4″X6″ one. I used the new Blendabilities markers and colored both the flowers (Peaceful Petals, Occasions Catalog) and the title (Countless Sayings 2.) I love, love, love these markers!! I also used some of the Project Life Embellishments (wooden banners). The card is one of the PL cards with the pattern already printed on the side and top.
I think this card is my very favorite in the Everyday Adventure card pack. I LOVE it! I stamped one of the coordinating stickers with the Project Life Au Jour De Jour date stamps. And, I added a few Candy Dots.
Here are a few more Everyday Adventure Cards.
The Map It Our USA stamp was perfect here!
I just love how everything fits so neatly in the little pockets. It makes scrapbooking pretty darn easy! As do all the coordinating pieces.
You can find all of Stampin’ Up’s current Project Life Offerings HERE. And if you like what you see, get excited because the new catalog has a TON more! The rest of the month, I will be showing you alternate uses for your Project Life pieces. They are so beautiful and fun, you can really do so much with them! I hope you will hop back by and check out my other Wednesday posts.
Alright, you’re on to the next Artisan, my friend
Jane Lee. Thanks so much for hopping along with us this week!
