Artisan Wednesday Wow- Viewfinder Card Set

Hello everyone! Welcome back! I hope you have been hoping along and enjoying this week’s beautiful project so far. What a wonderful group of spring inspired projects!

My project this week was actually created for a swap at my Upline’s meeting. And then I got a little carried away. i made this Strawberry Slush card first. the I decided to try other colors. Then I decided it needed a card holder.. And then I decided it was special enough to submit as one of my Artisan projects!! LOL! But, I did still swap some of them with my wonderful sideline. It’s always funny to me how things progress…

This great card keeper was created using the Envelope Punch board. I found the tutorial for this on my friend and former Artisan herself, Cindy Beach. You can see it HERE. I stamped it first with my new favorite stamp:Hardwood. Love this stamp!!!

The flowers are from Simple Stems and were stamped three times. I cut each layer out and stacked them with Dimensionals. The View Finder disk was created with punches in MDS and cut with my e-cutter. I have made this many times! I also have a tutorial for it as well and you can see that HERE.

I featured my favorite color, Strawberry Slush on the Belly Band. I love this color!! I’s replaced my obsession with Regal Rose… Thank goodness! Oh, and I forgot to mention the newsprint was created with the Dictionary Stamp. Ok, I think that’s it… so many pieces, it’s hard to remember!!

Ok, you’re off to Jane Lee’s fabulous blog. Her project this week is so Fabulous!! Enjoy!

  1. Ditto, to what Cindy said, a case is coming on! You are simply amazing and so, so talented! Love all of this Erica!

  2. Bright colors make me happy and your card set makes me smile! I love the way you used the flower stamp in green as leaves. The box is perfect in Hardwood. The viewfinder is such a cool idea!
    Love it, friend.

  3. Won't you please share how to make your GORGEOUS card box! Absolutely stunning! I just got the Hardwood Stamp and would love to learn how to make your project! Thanks so much! Lynn G.

  4. Funny – I just discovered Regal rose… no. no.. wait… I think it was rose red that I discovered. Am I losing it? Anyway, love the color regardless. "Will I be ok?" "I think not"
