I also used lots of the pieces of the new DSP called Gold Soiree (ooo la la!). It’s also very yummy and fancy. Kind of “silky” if you can imagine. Very nice feel and fun to work with. I created the triangles in MDS using a digital punch and then merging them into my e-cutter. The top is the stamp from Dotty Angles. Doesn’t it look like falling confetti?! Ca-ute!
Welcome to the Stampin’ Up Artisan Blog Hop! Thanks for joining us once again. 🙂
Look how cute our buttons are this week! Jen Timko created them and they are fabulous!
Way to go Jen!!
And, they just so happen to match my project this week! We were all THRILLED (and that’s an understatement!) to receive this month’s box. It was full of new catalog stuff. We are so spoiled I tell ya! It was hard to narrow it down, but I chose to start with the new Kraft Cardstock because I LOVE it!! It’s authentic Kraft.. like a box or the back of a spiral notebook. Does that make sense? It’s very organic. If you can even use that word to describe paper.. LOL! It is very different from the Crumb Cake and Baked Brown Sugar, I promise!
The focal point is this beautiful single stamp called Hey There Buds. I colored it just as it’s shown in the catalog. I used my Stampin’ Write Markers (Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe and Garden Green) to color the stamp itself. I huffed on it and stamped. Voila! Perfect! I added some Crystal Effects to the berries to add a little dimension. And did you see the Baked Brown Sugar Twine?? Nom-nom-nom… love it! Thank you SU for all the new twine!!!!
Ok, that’s it for me this week. I’m almost done with school and am looking forward to all summer crafting! Yay! Hope your summer is off to a wonderful start as well. 🙂
