Every month when my Paper Pumpkin Kit arrives, I can’t wait to rip it open and see what it includes. I’ve been a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber since the very first month and let me tell you, it gets better and better every month!
Sometimes however, the project doesn’t fit my needs. Or in this case, it involves something I don’t have patience for! 🙂 So, instead of throwing it in a cabinet and never seeing it again, I set it aside until I had time to play around with it. I do LOVE a challenge! So, I finally found the time and let me just show you what I came up with!
I loved the stamps, colors and patterns of this kit. I just didn’t like the stitching required for each card. So, I took out the stitching and did what i do best-make a 3D item out of the pieces!
These gift pockets are simple to make and, as you can see, hold a variety of different things.
My favorite is the teacher gift card along with a stack of Post It Notes and a couple of black pencils! Love the way they match the paper!
Let me show you just how fun it is to take a Paper Pumpkin kit and turn it on it’s side!
You can get your own Paper Pumpkin Subscription HALF OFF the first two months now through June 10. You must use code save50.
You can also purchase more of the kit I showed you above when and if you are a current Paper Pumpkin Subscriber!
Here is the kit I used for these projects called Sew You
