Hello everyone! Happy New Year!! Whew, I am so ready for a calm and quite month- aren’t you? I hope you will have lots of crafting time this month so you can play with all the new Sale A Bration and Occasions Catalog products! Today, we’ve got lots of inspiration for you!
It’s time for a brand new All Star Tutorial Bundle and Blog hop! As you know, I have teamed up with 11 other Stampin’ Up Demos to bring you a Tutorial Bundle each month. We each offer this in our own business for free with a minimum order as well as a stand alone PDF purchase.
This month, all the projects center around products in the 2018 Sale A Bration Catalog.
You can find the full details at the bottom of this post.
My project this month features my favorite Sale A Bration stamp set- Epic Celebrations. While I can only show you a sneak peek of the project in the actual All Star PDF, I CAN show you a second project I made for this blog hop with the same set.
This card is a CASE of a card a friend of mine (Melody Hyde) shared on Facebook. It was actually a Christmas card, but I loved the colors and the big heart so I knew I had to make a fun birthday version with this set. I used the beautiful Petal Passions Designer Series Paper along with the Epic Celebrations stamp set.
To create the guitar, I stamped it in both Smokey Slate and Melon Mambo on the same color cardstock. I fussy cut (scissors!) the bottom part of the guitar from the Melon Mambo paper and the neck out from the Smokey Slate. I glued them together and then colored the body with Wink of Stella! It’s shimmery in real life, but hard to capture with the camera. I added a Vellum Starburst punch and a few Silver Enamel Stars on the large heart. I love this card so much, I don’t think I’ll be able to give it away!
Now, above is the sneak peek of my project in this month’s All Star Tutorial Bundle. I used the adorable sneakers image along with the same paper to create a 3D project!
