Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today, I’ve got another project featuring the Adoring Hearts Bundle. Make sure to check out my other projects, you can see the three from Facebook Friday here and one more here.
Today’s card uses the negative space created when i made the hearts for Friday’s Nugget Box.
As you can see, it cuts out the hearts, but it also embosses these cute tiny hearts on the other parts of the paper as well! You can see that video here if you haven’t seen it. I cut it to a 4″ width and 5 1/2″ length and added it to my card base with Dimensionals. I added a narrow piece of Delightfully Eclectic DSP on either side, behind the embossed piece.
I then created new hearts using the Embossing Folder/Die combo and Bubble Bath ink and Basic White Cardstock. Added them to the open spaces on my card base with two stacked Dimensionals so they would rise up a bit higher. So, in theory, you can use the pink hearts created originally in the negative space created by the Basic White piece.
Lastly, I added a Basic White Perennial Postage rectangle on the inside, stamped the sentiment in Bubble Bath ink and added one more of those left over Bubble Bath hearts. This card is easy and fast and a great way to use up those left over pieces!
