Welcome to the first day of the Artisan Award Design Team Blog hop! I’m so excited to show you my winning entries!
You’ve probably just hopped over from Cindy Beach’s Blog. Isn’t her stuff cute? ! I’ve always admired everything she does!
So, today I’m showing you my first card. I love this card because of the way I incorporated the Bakers Twine. My mom taught me how to crotchet so I created a small little trim piece for behind the stamped images. Fun!
Here is a close up view. I also used the fabric to create a tiny pillow for the chair. I hand stitched it and stuffed it with the tiniest piece of cotton. I also created a textured background by cutting several Wild Wasabi Lattice pieces. I really love the look of tone on tone when using a die cut. It creates an embossed feel.
OK, so your next stop in the hop is Heather Summers blog! You don’t want to miss it!
And, in case you want to book mark them all, here is the complete list of Artisan Award Winners for 2012:

Your work is amazing. I LOVE it. You linked Heidi's name as Heather's…FYI.
WOW! I'm super impressed with this one. Love the crochet flower done with the baker's twine (clever!) and the stuffed little cushion made out of fabric (cleverer!). 😀
TFS!
Cindy
This card is adorable. I love the crocheted edge on the center piece. The fabric "pillow" is a wonderful touch.
I LOVE that crocheted trim!! Such a perfect addition to a fantastic card!! You are amazing, my friend!!
